Internal Quality Control Steps We Apply
- Daily Instrument Calibration and Maintenance: Critical equipment such as NGS sequencers, thermal cyclers, and microscopes are calibrated before each analysis run.
- Positive, Negative, and Internal Controls: In each assay run, known positive and negative reference samples and internal controls are utilized to verify that the reaction performs correctly.
- Double Report Control and Approval System: Every clinical test result and bioinformatics analysis output is independently reviewed and approved by at least two competent medical geneticists.
- Environmental and Temperature Monitoring: Humidity and temperature levels of lab areas, sample and kit storage cabinets are monitored 7/24 via automated sensors and reported.
