Clarification Text on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data
The purpose of the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 is to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the privacy of private life, in the processing of personal data, and to regulate the obligations and the procedures and principles to be followed by natural and legal persons who process personal data.
Ecegen Genetic Diseases Evaluation Center (“Ecegen”), as the Data Controller under the Law No. 6698 and related legislation, will process your personal data in accordance with the legislation and within the framework specified below.
Processed Personal Data
- Your Identity Information: Name, surname, T.R. Identity number, passport number, place and date of birth, marital status, gender, insurance and patient protocol number.
- Your Contact Information: Address, phone number, e-mail address.
- Your Financial Data: Bank account number, IBAN, credit card and billing information.
- Your Health Information: Medical reports, diagnosis data, biometric and genetic data, laboratory and test results, examination and appointment information.
- Other Data: Vehicle license plate information, camera recordings, health data submitted to the website, CV in case of job application.
Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
- Learning whether personal data is processed
- Requesting information if it has been processed
- Learning the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with the purpose
- Knowing the third parties to whom it is transferred
- Requesting correction if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed
- Requesting its deletion or destruction
- Requesting the elimination of damage in case of damage due to unlawful processing
